 Traditional Naturopathy . . . . . . .
Our ND program
is commonly referred to as "True naturopathy," as well as referred to as "natural medicine," and is believed by
it's practitioners to be the traditional approach to medical treatment by "assisting nature" with the self-healing of the
body, i.e. to "facilitate the body's inherent healing mechanisms," and "support the body's own innate capacity to achieve
optimal health."
True naturopaths as (natural) medical scientists assert a faith-based "wholistic philosophy" and
are known to be team members of those who practice of the art and science of integrative medicine.
Furthermore, Traditional
Naturopaths recognize that any maladies, infirmaties, and sicknesses (or pathology) automatically produces a response of the
body's mechanism to purify itself of toxins. This is one of the principles of true naturopathy.
Since the early historic
American origins of "true naturopathy," naturopathic theory and its practice in general have come along way and based upon
the evolving body of scientific knowledge related to health, pathology, and medical care which has been widely accepted by
the integrative medicine and scientific community.
While many aspects of naturopathic education and training have
improved greatly over the years, the average naturopath who practices "true naturopathy" is a specialist in his/or her own
right---with those allopathic practitioners of former years now integrative physicians becoming savvy to what
CAM (Complimentary and Alternative Medicine) really is, thus the true naturopath must now combine with medical science and commonsense
health, nutrition measures, and the rational use of specific herbs for a variety of everyday conditions to serious life
threatening diagnosis.
Thus, Naturopathic theory, it's scope and quality of practice as well as education
has been come forth from a variety of schools, experimental programs, and course work to prepare it's practitioner to make
an appropriate treatment choices as a CAM (Complimentary and Alternative Medicine) modality.
Master of Herbal Medicine & Remedial Sciences . . . . . . .
Medicinal
heralists who work with the remedial sciences may combine hydrotherapy, massage, and simple exercises in the application of
natural agents. This course of study provides at home lab work in natural remedies that use more than one area of natural
methods.

studies will help the laymen to health care provider in the introduction into the practice of alternative medicine. There
are faith-based readings that apply to the realm of natural health and remedial sciences.
